The contact’s wife owns a 2015 Land Rover Range Rover. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V840000 (Steering); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated upon inspecting the vehicle, the contact became aware that the front suspension knuckles were cracked. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the front suspension knuckles needed to be replaced; however, the vehicle had not been repaired and remained with the dealer. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.
