I first encountered the death wobble at 18,000 miles. It happened to both me and my husband within a hundred miles of each incident. I took my car in for an oil change and talked to the technician and he said that he could try the fix that Jeep put forth to attempt to fix it, but it never really fixed the issue. Well, it was not that bad and happened infrequently and life moves on. Fast forward to about 30,000 miles, the last month and now the wobble happens any time Im at speeds over 60 and hit a tiny bump in the road. Last night, it threw me into the lane next to me and if there had been a car there, it would have been terrible accident. I drove home at 50mph on the freeway! It was terrifying. I am taking it to the dealership tomorrow and Ill see what they have to say now. This is so dangerous and scary. It need to be corrected.
