Driving at highway speeds 60 mph. The upper grille (as GMC calls it) came off of the truck, hit my windshield and the car behind me also hit it. This is a known GM problem and they are not issuing a recall on this. We are lucky the car behind me didn’t suffer any damage nor swerve to miss the flying piece of my vehicle. This is a huge safety concern that needs to be addressed. A quick google search will reveal many other people having this same issue. Some stating damage to their vehicle as a result.
