The vehicle failed to stop immediately until the parking brake was applied. The brake warning light was illuminated, and an unknown message was displayed. The vehicle was towed to Pep Boys, who related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V904000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to file a complaint with the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 200,000.
