Engine — catastrophic failure 6.2 liter V8. Vehicle is currently at dealer awaiting full engine replacement. Failure left me stranded waiting for tow to dealer. Problem has been diagnosed as rod and main bearing failure, engine replacement imminent. Vehicle was running perfectly fine all day. Went to take my daughter to basketball practice in evening initially everything was fine, then we heard squeeking, turned around to bring right back home, lost power in intersection, truck stalled. Got restarted check engine light came on and limp mode reduced power activated. Truck towed to dealer and oil pan was pulled. Rob and main bearings have scattered metal throughout the engine. Truck confirmed to need full replacement.
