Hi, I don’t have a functioning car. It is bricked due to an update from 2.0 to 2.1 (en route to 2.2). I’ve experienced all the normal stuff like my Brakes wouldn’t work as expected and the ADAS Warning Beeps were going nuts… But currently, there was a forced, OTA Update that I did not consent to and now the car ds not move (or turn on). I’m concerned about the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. The experience I had with my Fisker durning a 2.1 Over-the-Air (OTA) update attempt left my vehicle undrivable. This is leaving me in an inconvenient and frustrating situation. As a result, I had to incur additional expenses to have the necessary safety updates completed to restore my vehicle’s functionality. This is far from the experience that I expected when signing up for a free mandated safety recall. Moreover, I’ve noticed a concerning trend regarding the frequency of issues reported by fellow owners after OTA updates. It appears that a significant percentage of vehicles’approximately 2% to 5%’experience similar problems, rendering them undrivable during the 48-hour update window. This situation not only disrupts our daily lives but also raises serious concerns about the reliability of the software updates. I am particularly troubled by the statistics indicating that only around 10% of the fleet has been updated successfully after several weeks of attempts. With such a limited number of service personnel available nationwide, it is alarming that many owners like myself are left without adequate support during these challenging times. I urge you to address these issues promptly, putting more vehicles in danger of becoming undrivable because of the safety recall process being flawed may not be helpful in this current process. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer in resolving my current situation and compensating for the expenses incurred due to this inconvenience. Thank you 🙂
