Moreover, it has come to my attention that a concerning number of owners have reported their vehicles as undrivable following OTA updates, with 2%-5% of vehicles experiencing such issues weekly. The current 48-hour update window renders my car unusable, and now I require another session, an additional 48 hours to complete the update only adds to my frustration. Based on owner surveys, it appears that complete updates, including the correct sounds, have been successfully implemented in less than 30% of vehicles attempted. Given these concerns, I urge you to look into the situation with my vehicle and the entire process. I should not have to pay out of pocket for the safety recall and restored function of pedestrian alert noises, nor the cost of a rental car. Thank you for your attention to this critical matter.
