Faulty welds on door hinges, particularly where the check arm connects. This happened yesterday, loud cracking and grinding noise when the front driver door is opened or closed. Ford has known about this issue and refuses to issue a recall. And getting in touch with my local Ford dealer’s service department is difficult.
