Ever since we bought the car in mid-2023, we have been getting ‘Front camera fault’ and ‘Pre-Collision Assist not available’ error messages, at first intermittent and now constant. The errors pop up every time we turn on the car, and sometimes while driving as well, which is distracting and annoying. In addition, the cruise control dsn’t work at all, and these front camera and pre-collision assist functions (which are safety features of the car) do not work. We brought the vehicle to two dealers for this same problem well within the warranty period and neither was able to fix it. We have tried to get these errors fixed on multiple occasions with no luck so far. Hansel Ford of Petaluma has our car and is now telling us it will cost $2806.21 to replace the IPMA module to fix the problem, and that it is not covered under warranty. Ford has a TSB addressing the issue: TSB 23-2155. I have spoken with Ford Customer Care on multiple occasions asking for assistance and they have failed to provide any help. This issue is widely reported on Mach-E forums as a known and frequent safety issue.
