The contact owns a 2017 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start. The contact stated that there was abnormal fuel consumption while driving on trips. The starter was replaced at the contactâs expense at a local dealer; however, the failure persisted. The check engine warning light intermittently illuminated. In addition, the battery was replaced; however, the failure persisted. Upon further investigation, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 85,000.
