A CPST examined this car seat with us. The base release lever ds not release the carrier from the base. The release lever gets stuck, and is not strong enough to pull the plungers on the carrier out of the windows of the base. We are unable to use a seatbelt to install the carrier in the car because we are unable to remove the carrier from the base to access the belt path and ensure that the seatbelt is tight enough.
