When driving the vehicle shifts very hard and has a loud clanging in second and fifth gear. It skips those gears and will lag in intersections and on roadways because of the skip. Had it diagnosed by a transmission shop and they said it needed cam phasers. Took it to the dealer and the said it needed a new valve body as the issue was repeatable. Had the valve body replaced and it is still doing it and even worse. No lights came on, and we bought the vehicle used with 81k miles on it and we noticed it right away, so the dealer did a âreprogram❠of the software and said it was fine. It started to do it again right away and we called the dealer and they would not return our call. We drove it because we had too until it got bad enough we didnât feel safe driving it anymore and now it is waiting for the hopes that a new transmission will fix the issue.
