Описание:
The car has stalling problems and low power problem (changed 3 batteries in 5 years), took to dealership first time and they could not confirmed what’s wrong. The problem became worse and stalled a few times, took to local shop and code p2638 torque management feedback signal came back, indicating problem with transmission or TCU. Then, it was noted that there’s a NHTSA RECALL NUMBER:19V-299, specifically ‘Low voltage situations resulting from loose battery terminal connection(s) or a degraded battery could cause the Transmission Control Unit to reboot and shift the transmission to Park’. The recall was on 2018-19 Honda Odyssey, however, my car’s VIN is not included, therefore it is not covered. Contacted Honda corporate, they are saying since VIN is not part of the recall, it is not covered. The year, the model and the problem are exactly matches what’s in the recall but Honda refuse to cover it or giving good will discount.
