The OK button on the steering wheel collapsed in causing the dash menus to choose random settings and turn them on or off. In the dash selection, controlled with this, is the crash detection on the vehicle, causing the menu to cycle through and turn off and on these settings also. Theres blind spot, alarms, lane departure, driver assistance, and backup sensors. Theres vehicles safety features are controlled in the dash menus. The cruise control button is also sticking resulting in the cars speed to change whenever. This is a known issue with Nissan but still refuse to do anything about it after the bumper to bumper warranty period is over, even though it includes safety features. They also want us to pay $170 dollars just for them to say yes the bottons are broken. Several forums have confirmed this is a problem that Nissan is well aware of. Someone mentioned their 2023 went through 3 steering wheels because of this issue and it was within the warranty period, so Nissan replaced the steering wheels (you cant just replace the button modules).
