Each time gas tank is filled completely, there is a strong fuel smell that lasts for a couple days. recently vehicle was parked facing down an incline after a recent fill and gasoline smell became very strong and an oily (shiny rainbow) slick noted leaking from under where the vehicle was parked. I believe this indicates that there is damage to the fuel tank near the top of the tank. I have started filling the tank 2/3 only and do not have the gas smell with that. Have had the vehicle for about 10 months and noticed the smell the first time I filled with gas, but did not suspect it was caused by a leak until recently. There is an ’emissions system’ error on dash. No issues with vehicle performance / operation.
