My truck (2022 Silverado with ~37k mileage) suddenly went into limp mode and gave me a reduced engine power message, along with an ignited check engine light. As soon as this happened, I also received an email stating that there was a diagnostic alert for my vehicle requiring immediate attention (Engine and Transmission System). I immediately called the shop and took it in for diagnostics. I am told it is a valve body issue. It seems that this is a known issue, and it seems extremely dangerous for these faulty parts to be on the road.
