The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while the transmission was downshifting, there was a loud bang coming from the transmission, with a popping sound coming from the rear suspension. The contact stated that the sound was most apparent when the brake pedal was depressed. The contact stated that the message that the driveras side rear door was open, causing the light to remain illuminated even though the door was securely closed. During the failure, the lights inside and outside the vehicle remained illuminated, causing the battery to become drained.
