The MMI system and all associated functions resets without warning mid drive. The Audi dealership has a bulletin that says a software update is the solution, but has made the problem worse — rather than intermittent resets (once every few days) the system now resets multiple times on short drives (5 times within 20 minutes). This turns off all navigation, radio, phone, CarPlay, Bluetooth, and camera functionality when it happens. Audi has said the only repair is to replace the entire computer module out of pocket — it is a known issue with this car.
