There have been multiple failures from the injector in multiple cylinders resulting in hesitation and shaking in the vehicles. My understanding is that many of the maintenance shops have had to replace this exact component in many 1500’s due to its failure. I was informed that Stellantis has been informed, however refused to issue a recall or redesign the unit. Also, they are not covering it under the power trane warranty, even thought the engine won’t run without a fully functioning injector. Yes this is a safety issue because of the hesitation it causes, therefore putting you in harms way when pulling out in traffic.
