Unknown what component failed. Safety was at risk because the delay in the throttle response can result in get in an accident. I can’t reproduce the problem. It happens at random. The vehicle has never been inspected by anyone about this issue. No warning whatsoever. It doesn’t happen ofen. Some times it’s worse than others.
