Midway home I got a message on my dashboard “steering assist reduced — drive with care”, but my power steering was still functional. I parked my car in the driveway, shut it off, and the cooling fans started blowing excessively. This continued for 5-ish minutes before shutting off on its own. Then I noticed that the engine temp gauge wasn’t working. Unsure if this is a problem with the thermometer or the sensor currently.
