The contact was informed that the accelerator position sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was being repaired. Additionally, the contact stated that the failure had occurred several times, and the vehicle was taken to the dealer five times due to the failure. The contact stated that the accelerator pedal had been replaced two times within eight months. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure,e and a case was filed.
