Why, after more than 5 months of a recall issuance, is there still not a ‘fix’ issued to service dealers to make needed replacement of the Hydraulic Control Unit ABS (recall C4B)? Is anybody overseeing this matter to ensure timely resolve to this safety issue? I called my local Dodge dealer this morning to check on this after not hearing any further word about it despite registering my vehicle for recall notification with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, and learned that they have a bulk shipment of 16 HCU units in stock, but they do not have the vehicle computer programming (or something to that effect) to initiate fixing the matter. I sure hope the HCU on my truck doesn’t fail and cause an accident.
