These model K67 BMW bikes have been having issues with ignition coil failures on multiple bikes. I have had two failures so far within a 3 month/1500mile span on my bike. Initial failure caused bike to shut off suddenly while riding (9-16-24 roughly 5200 miles) dealership replaced coil under warranty Cylinder 4 failure. Second time(12-31-24 roughly 6,626 miles) bike cut off all power on the freeway causing wait of 3 hours for BMW to have a tow sent out. Pulled codes and found the same coil failure codes as previous incident. Multiple groups & forums of people having the same failures on these bikes. Ive already had to have a very common water pump failure on this bike at 1800 miles roughly which is also extremely common with this generation bike also.
