While driving on the highway, the panoramic roof shattered on its own with no outside or inside influence. This put the safety of myself and others at risk as the noise was similar to a weapon being fired at point-blank range. Additionally, had the panoramic roof curtain not been closed, glass would have fallen onto my children. This problem has been reported by others online, and there is a class action lawsuit against Honda for it. I’m working with my local dealership, and they’re refusing to repair it under warranty. Honda Corporate states that if the dealership refuses to repair it under warranty, thats their right and they, Honda Corporate, cannot help me. I have photos taken immediately after it occurred, as well as video and audio from my dash camera showing that nothing impacted the vehicle. There was no prior warning that would allude to the possibility of the panoramic roof shattering.
