Electric Power steering (EPS) Warning lamp came on while driving this 2014 Ram 1500 Crew Cab 4×4 1500 Big Horn and had no power steering! Mechanic states approximately $4k to replace rack and pinion steering. Searching there are thousands of these trucks out there with the same problem. I have checked the Ram ‘recall’ and the S/N on this gear ds not match any of those listed. Terrible design and FCA needs to step up to the plate and make this right for Ram Owners before more are injured or worse. Truck will be parked it it not safe to drive and who has four grand laying around to fix these trucks?
