When attempting to put my car in PARK, the car issues a warning stating the car is not in PARK, it dsn’t recognize the gear shift being in park, therefore, I am unable to shut my car off or lock it up. It is a known manufacturing defect and GM refuses to cover the cost to add a bandaid to it as there is no permanent fix. This is a safety issue, and now my car is not reliable, nor safe. GM refuses to issue a recall on this.
