The contact owns a 2017 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start. The contact stated that upon checking the coolant reservoir, the contact became aware that the coolant level was low. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact used a diagnostic scanner and retrieved fault codes for a misfire in cylinders #1 and #2. The contact researched the failure and concluded that the failure might be because of coolant intrusion into the engine. The local dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed because the VIN was not under recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure.
