My 2019 Chevy Malibu had a problem where the gear shifter failed to properly register that it’s in the ‘park’ position, even when I moved the lever there, resulting in a message on the dashboard saying ‘shift to park’ having me afraid to leave the vehicle and having to restart the vehicle and move the shifter to different gears then trying again even driving a few feet to see if that would help finally after a several tries i was able to park vehicle. I scheduled a appointment with Lasorsa GM service for 2 /18/ 25 this was my second incident the prior one resolved after two tries but was also unnerving
