The contact stated while the vehicle was parked, the driver’s side front seat belt was latched; however, the front driver’s seat belt buckle failed to latch as intended. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 95V103004 (Seat Belts). The vehicle was taken to the dealer for the recall repair; however, the contact was informed that the recall repair was completed. The failure reoccurred. The dealer was made aware of the failure. The contact was informed that the front driver’s side seat belt buckle was not included in the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 185,000.
