Shortly after we passed 30,000 miles and our initial warranty expired, our passenger-side sliding door began having problems in which it would get stuck while opening. We would need to turn off the power to the door and manually pull the door shut. This began happening more often as the weather got colder in November to December 2024. At its peak this winter, it would happen multiple times per day, and the door was basically non-functional. We took it to the Honda dealership several times before they were able to determine that the problem was a faulty latch on the sliding door. We had this replaced on March 14, 2025. The door works fine now, but the weather has been warm. We worry that this will happen again to the new latch and to the driver’s-side door.
