I leased this vehicle approximately three weeks ago, yesterday as I was adjusting the dashboard lighting, the service high voltage battery warning came on. Now the vehicle wont take a charge, the vehicle has changed the charge setting to 40%, and I cannot increase it. I ‘ve reserved an appointment for 4/11/2025 for the vehicle to be serviced, and was told that I wont be given a loaner vehicle. This entire scenario is very inconvenient to say the least. This my first Honda and probably my last. I feel that my safety is at risk in this case, as I cant drive it now, since I cant recharge the battery, so the vehicle is totally unreliable at this time. There were no warning signs of this issue, and I’m grateful that the vehicle didnt die in the middle of rush hour traffic, or leave me stranded somewhere.
