I am a CPST at a hospital, I have now had the same issue with 3 different Evenflo Nurturemax infant carriers/bases in the past month, this is the most recent one. The carrier gets stuck in the base upon normal, correct installation. The handle that releases the carrier from the base gets stuck and ds not move when the carrier is installed in the base. We followed the instructions in the manual and had another CPST double check to make sure that we were doing everything correctly. Parents are unable to install the restraint safely in their vehicle when the carrier is stuck in the base, because it is impossible to get the latch system tight enough or to get the seat belt through the appropriate path on the base while the carrier is in the base.
