The contact stated while driving 40-45 MPH uphill and depressing the brake pedal to come to a stop at the red traffic light, the brake pedal travelled down to the floorboard, and the vehicle failed to respond. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle started rolling backwards while in drive(D). The contact shifted to park(P), but the vehicle continued to roll backwards. The contact stated upon engaging the electric parking brake, the vehicle stopped. The contact stated that after the vehicle was turned off and restarted, the vehicle responded as needed.
