The contact owns a 2020 Braxton Creek Bushwacker. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed with the trailer hitched, the contact noticed a burning odor. The contact drove the vehicle to the shoulder of the road. The contact inspected and noticed that the passenger’s side rear tire of the vehicle was cracked. The vehicle and trailer was towed to the dealer; however, the failure was not duplicated. The contact was informed that some welding had been performed to prevent the failure from reoccurring. The failure reoccurred. The contact inspected the vehicle and noticed that the lag bolts which attached the cabin to the frame were fractured. The vehicle and trailer was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with fractured lag bolts. The contact was informed that the lag bolts needed to be replaced. The trailer remained at the dealer unrepaired. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V565000 (Structure); however, the VIN was not included in the recall.
