Driving on interstate 85 on cruise control when I herd the motor RPM start to climb so I tapped the break and thats when the truck shut itself off and put itself in neutral causing me to have to coast over to shoulder of the road. Message on the dash said push start button to start again. There were no check engine lights, no overheating temperature lights. No codes at all. The truck is a 2024 with 62,000 miles and all oil changes on time. Upon checking online , this has happened to other vehicle owners as well. Apparently the Chevy Silverado with the 6.2 liter engine has problems with push rods and bearings. Some have replaced multiple engines. Chevy wants me to pay for new engine.
