The tailgate is unlatching itself (electronically). This occurs every 30 seconds when the vehicle is parked. This is a safety issue because if someone is standing or walking behind the vehicle, the tailgate will open and injure them. Because the lights activate when the tailgate unlatches, the battery was drained and the vehicle could not start. Thus damaging the life of the battery. This has occurred consistently for the last 2 days. The dealer has the part for the issue because the 2024 has a recall but 2025 (ours) ds not. Please be advised, the drained and dead battery had left us stranded.
