The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that coolant had intruded into the engine block and the engine needed to be replaced. The contact was advised by the dealer that there was a manufacturer technical service bulletin for the failure 22-2229 (Engine and Engine Cooling), but the vehicle was no longer under warranty and he would have to pay for the repair.
