The contact owns a 2013 Ford 150. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. In addition, the contact stated that the air bags and the check engine warning light were illuminated. The vehicle was driven to the shoulder of the road. The contact turned the vehicle off and allowed the vehicle to sit for several minutes. The vehicle was restarted, and the system reset independently. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but did not assist.
