The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer was contacted and inspected the vehicle. After inspecting the vehicle three times, it was determined the vehicle was not defective and determined no repair was needed. The contact stated that the recall notice did not state that an inspection was needed to determine if the axle half-shaft and hub assemblies would be replaced.
