I received this recall December of 2023. I was originally advised that a fix would be ready during the 1st quarter of 2024. I inquired on two occasions about the safety of driving my truck with the axle bolt breaking issue recall. Two separate techs advised me that I could continue driving my truck until a fix to the issue is found but both techs advised not to tow a trailer until it’s repaired. I mainly use my truck to tow and usually a couple hundred miles at a time, so this dsn’t help me and its now mid-March of 2025.
