My engine started knocking while on vacation in Indiana (I live in TX) I took it to dealer [XXX] and it was diagnosed with bearing failure. Engine ‘ordered’ on [XXX]. It is currently [XXX] still with no ETA for new engine. Stuck with a small/standard SUV (chevy equinox) for rental in place of my $74,845 Truck which is not a large enough vehicle for my daily usage, but no solutions or help added from GM customer service or dealership. There were no warning signs other that me hearing the noise. My GM app still states no current issues with your vehicle.
