Engine locked up / froze up while driving 75MPH on interstate i-10. Vehicle is now in the shop awaiting a new engine. It will probably lock up as well, finding there is no known guaranteed reason for this engine failure. Dealership provided a junk rental and said it would be a few months before repair is complete. My towing bills were not paid by GM. My insurance had to pay which is simply not right! I’m sure they will pull a mystery motor off the shelf and hope for the best… Very dangerous!
