This car has a recall on it since Jan. 2024 for a battery harness cable. I have tried numerous times to get the recall done and each time, the dealer has not had the part. The dealer is also saying that I need to bring the car in first to inspect it before they will order the part from Honda of North America. I called Honda of North America and they say that is not true. That they just need to replace the part and I do not need to bring the car in for inspection. I am not sure what to do at this point. Honda just sent me another notice saying I need to do the recall. But my local dealer says they don’t have the part and won’t order it for me. Is anyone paying attention to this problem? Other people are saying that Honda is making them pay for service in order to do the recall.
