The passenger seat belt will spontaneously unbuckle without warning or cause. This puts the passenger safety at risk in case there were a crash. The problem hasn’t been repaired by a dealer but it’s happened about 4 or 5 times. I’ve not had it inspected. No warning lamps went off before the failure. Luckily, the passenger unlock alert went off when it unbuckled so we were alerted to the seat belt buckle malfunction.
