I was leaving a parking lot and getting ready to turn onto a busy road with my family. As I approached the road and started to brake, we went over a number of pot holes. When that happened, the whole car started to shake and I noticed that we were not slowing down. I don’t know what was going on but I was scared. We were approaching a busy road quickly and I did not feel safe. I pressed HARD down on the brakes and eventually we came to a HARD stop. I told my wife what happened and she said that similar things have happened to her when she was braking and she had to swerve off of the road to avoid hitting the car in front of her. There is definately something going on with the ABS system. Going over the bumps through off the entire system and would’t let me brake. I have not taken it to a dealer and it has never been inspected by anyone. Prior to the issue, there were no warning signs that came up prior to the issue, or afterwards.
