Approximately 2-3 months ago, the horn had failed. This was reported to the dealer and covered under warranty. During the service the dealer advised that this issue was due to a faulty electrical contact and was a “known issue with the supplier of the horn”. Because of this, Hyundai extended the warranty period on the horn. Now, the horn had failed a second time and was discovered during a safety hazard in which I needed to alert another driver. This had the potential to cause serious injury but was avoided.
