Forward Collision Emergency Braking. Have had this happen on 5 different occasions. Very dangerous. The vehicle without warning slams on the emergency brakes and issues a warning. Took into dealer and they could find NO error codes and did nothing. First time this happened I thought maybe a bag or something flew up and obscured the forward facing sensors. Pulled over and checked nothing. Then 3 times it happened within 5 minutes. Pulled over and sensors looked fine no dirt or anything on the sensors. Can not drive car with this and so have been disabling the system except for a warning tone. Today it activated it again. Usually when I approach something the sensors turn yellow and then red when getting real close to an object. But today when it activated when not close to anything and driving down the road all the forward sensors activated with the warning but it was gray. (not yellow or red) Since I had it on warning only the brakes did not activate. This is very dangerous and unless you disable the automatic emergency braking could lead someone to plow into the backend of the SUV and it evidentially ds not cause error codes.
