I bought the car November, 2023. Today I have 5300 miles. Two months after purchase the car while I was driving, it shifted from ‘D’ drive to ‘1’. I went slowly from no speed to around 30 MPH when I heard a roaring noise and saw that the car down shifted. I stopped immediately (no cars behind me). Went to dealership which had no idea of what happened. No one else reported anything like my experience at the dealership Service Department. Happened twice over a couple of months which I did not go back to dealership. I believe it was on April 26, 2025, it happened twice the same day. I slowly went from being stopped and within 100 feet it went to ‘1’. Back to dealership so they made a record. May 17, 2025, I was stopped on a slight incline. I was in ‘R’, With foot on brake I switched to ‘D’. Without moving it went into ‘1’. I happened to be looking at dash. This new. Today dealership could find nothing. In April, 2025, I checked on the computer. Several articles regarding my problem. Nissan is aware of this problem. Someone described my problem exactly and gave a price range to repair and even named the part. Do people have to die before Nissan does a recall?
