There is standing water on the drivers side floorboard and a sloshing noise can be heard while driving. This appears to match conditions described in a Technical Service Bulletin (reference: NTB14-105a). The issue is especially bad in rainy conditions and the accumulation of moisture causes condensation on the inside of the windshield and windows making it difficult to clear off to see while driving. Additionally due to the large amount of water, mold is starting to grow on the interior upholstery. The vehicle has been inspected by the dealer who confirmed the issue although they declined to cover the cost of the repair as there are currently no active recalls related to this issue. They further claim that NTB14-105a ds not apply to this vehicle.
